First Residence Permit Renewal
Can you believe it… yesterday (1 August), after being granted a special appointment so that we will have the results in time to attend a very special wedding in the Netherlands at the end of the month, we submitted our first residence renewal applications. The staff at the Aufenthaltsrecht Büro here in Linz were incredibly helpful, even letting Lily do her fingers-prints despite the fact that she was under 6 years old and didn’t need to, and we were in and out in just over an hour.
While we haven’t yet been in Austria for a year (our first residence permit started the day of application not arrival in Linz), this is a significant mile stone in us continuing to settle into our life and roles here.
Please pray with us as we wait for a result on the applications. This should come through in the next week or 2. Please also pray for the planning that has already started for initiatives we hope to see launched well next year.
