We are The Benns… John, Dané, Cori and Lily
We are a long-term, full-time missionary family sent by Home Ground Westville Baptist Church, serving with the missions organisation Operation Mobilisation (OM).
We lived and served on board MV Logos Hope from February 2020 until December 2021. John worked as the Visitor Engagement Department Head and Book Fair Manager, while Dané served as mom to both Cori and Lily, as well as mom, mentor and friend to many of the young crew onboard.
For the past 2 years we have been living and serving in Austria. We work in the OM office with responsibilities in People Care, Mobilisation and Church Partnership. We are also part of the Baptist Church in Linz, serving with our time and talents in the areas God has lead us to.
Our vision is to see Jesus followers thriving and we believe God is leading us to see this happen through caring for, encouraging and coaching.
We count ourselves blessed to be able to call Home Ground Westville Baptist Church our primary spiritual home and sending church. As missionaries we believe it is incredibly important to have a church that believes in and supports the work that we are doing.
